Welcome to Birmingham! Whether you’re arriving for the first time or you’ve already experienced student life at the University of Birmingham, we’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to campus.

The Welcome Fair is a chance for you to discover what support and services are available to you during your time with us.

Guild Welcome Fair, Guild of Students
Want to grab some freebies? The Guild Welcome Fair is your chance to take advantage of exclusive student discount and offers.

Sport & Fitness Fair, Sports and Fitness Centre
Feeling sporty? We have over 50 sports and clubs for you to choose from. Whether you're a beginner or already a pro, there's something for everyone.
Societies Fair, Guild of Students
With over 350 student groups, this is your chance to find like-minded people, or even to try something new!

If you're an international student, this is your chance to learn about what support is availble to you, meet with other international students and even pick up some freebies along the way.

Welcome Week gives you the opportunity to explore campus, get involved with events, stock up on freebies, and make friends.
Remember, you’ll be able to find any programme and school induction sessions on your timetable through the MyUoB app. These are intended to help you get the most out of your course before embarking on a year of studies with us.
