Mark your calendars - Christmas on Campus is coming!

We’re kicking off the festive season just right with our annual Christmas on Campus event. Join us on Wednesday 2 December 2026 for a day of Christmas fun!

We’ve got a jam-packed programme of events, activities and tons of Christmas cheer for everyone.

Since UoB has made it to the nice list, Santa will be making a special visit to campus, so be sure to look out for him and say hi. He’ll also bring the magic to Old Joe for our main event, the annual Christmas light switch-on! Join us for the countdown and watch Chancellor's Court sparkle with festive spirit.

If you’re looking to get started on your holiday shopping, the Artisan markets will be running with a range of goodies from local businesses.

And back for another year, is our Carousel! Whether you fancy a ride by yourself or want to make memories with friends, don't miss out on embracing your inner child and enjoy a little moment of happiness.

That's just a glimpse of what to expect. So add 'Christmas on Campus' to your calendars on Wednesday 2 December - you don't want to miss out on the free festive fun we have for you!

You’ll get more information soon but keep an eye on the Christmas events page for more updates as well as Student News for full details of the day.
