Don't miss out on Birmingham Festival 2023!

Can you believe it’s been almost one year since the 2022 Commonwealth Games took place in Birmingham, and on our campus?!

To celebrate the anniversary, a FREE 10-day festival is taking place in Centenary Square, Birmingham from Friday 28 July until Sunday 6 August. Taking place outdoors with free entry for all, the Birmingham Festival 2023 welcomes diverse audiences, artists, local communities, and volunteers to bring back the good vibes of last year’s Commonwealth Games.

As a Principle Partner, we’re excited for the packed schedule of entertainment, from live music and performance, a dynamic parade, and interviews with guest creatives and athletes such as Soulful house DJ Echo Juliet, BBC Asian Network’s Bobby Friction and Team England Commonwealth Games medal-winning Athletes. Keep an eye out for Games mascot Perry the Bull who will be back in Brum.

The festival programme will run from 11:00 – 21:00 each day - you don’t want to miss out!

Celebrate in true Brummie style and find out what’s happening on the official Birmingham Festival 2023 website to  plan your days. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, we’ll be posting content from the Festival on @UniBirmingham on Instagram. Don’t forget to tag us in your photos and videos!

We’ll see you on the Square!
