We recognise the challenges facing students as a result of the pandemic, including financial challenges. We are pleased to confirm that we will be providing a 100% accommodation fee rebate for all University-operated and nominated partner student accommodation, covering an initial period from 11 January to 12 February 2021, for those students who have been asked by government not to return to campus and are therefore not using their rooms.

Students who qualify will have received more information from Accommodation Services.

Please remember to follow the guidance to stop the spread of coronavirus, it’s more important than ever.

  • Hands - wash frequently for 20 seconds or use hand sanitiser
  • Face - wear a face covering indoors
  • Space - stay at least 2 metres away from those not in your household or support bubble

The Enhanced Student Support Fund provides financial assistance for students during the pandemic. We have increased the value and revised the criteria, making it easier for students to receive support.
