Do I need to transfer my visa to a new passport?
If you have a digital immigration status (eVisa), you do not need to transfer your visa to your new passport. Instead, you must update your passport details in your UKVI account. You may be required to set up an online UKVI account if you do not yet have one; the UKVI website has information on transferring your visa and setting up an online UKVI account.
Please ensure that you provide the University with a copy of any new visas or passports. You can provide these online at My Right to Study, where they will be saved to your student record by the International Student Team (IST).
