Can Student dependants study in the UK?
A Student Dependant can study for the duration of the main applicant's visa. The main applicant is the Student visa holder. Please note that if the main applicant cannot extend their visa, the Student Dependant will not be able to extend their visa and this will mean that they do not have the right to study unless they hold a visa which permits study. They might be able to switch visa category in the UK or they might need to make a new visa application from outside the UK. This can result in taking a break in their studies.
