Can I submit a JCQ Form 8 as evidence of my specific learning difficulties?
A JCQ Form 8 does not provide sufficient evidence of specific learning difficulties at UoB. Students must provide a post-16, full diagnostic assessment report that meets the criteria specified in our Accessing Support guide.
Students are responsible for arranging their own assessments and should select their own assessor. The University is unable to recommend or endorse any particular assessment provider but organisations that may be able to assist include:
UoB funding is not available for updating any previous SpLD documentation e.g. a JCQ Form 8 or pre-16 diagnostic assessment report.
