What opportunities are there to practice my presentation skills?
If you have been working on your presentation skills and want some more experience, then there are many opportunities to speak about your research.
On a School level, there are many postgraduate research forums across the University in which you can participate. Many Colleges also have postgraduate research events such as poster conferences that are a great opportunity for improving presentation skills.
On a University level, there are opportunities through the Research Poster Competition, which is held within the annual PGR Research Festival, and our Three Minute Thesis competition which is organised by the University Doctoral School. The PGR Development team, based in the Library, also offer a number of development opportunities throughout the year.
