How do I add or update my disability information on My Details?
You can provide information about your disabilities in My Details in the MyUoB App.
- To add disabilities, click on the "Disabilities" option on the drop-down menu. This will open the "Disabilities" page.
- Click on the "Add new" button at the top right-hand corner of the page to add information to your profile.
- Enter your information and select update to complete this section.
How do I remove a disability from my profile on My Details?
If you would like to remove a disability and/or have a specific question about disabilities, please email disability@contacts.bham.ac.uk or use the "contact us" button below.
If I provide disability information in My Details, will I automatically receive a reasonable adjustment plan (RAP)?
No. Updating the disability section in My Details does not start the RAP application process. If you require support during your studies, you can find information about how to apply for a RAP on the student intranet.
The MyUoB App is available for download from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store by searching for 'MyUoB'. You can also access the web app version of MyUoB on your laptop or tablet.
