How do I access my proof of study letter?
As a fully enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate (taught and research) student, you will be issued with a digitally signed electronic letter for each programme of study.
New students will be registered with Gradintelligence (Gradintel) and sent an account activation request email to your UoB email address within 24 hours of your full enrolment. The activation link expires after 30 days. If you cannot locate your email or the link has expired, you will need to go through Gradintel's account recovery process.
If you have already activated your Gradintel account you can use the username and password you created to log in.
If you have previously accessed your Gradintel account, such as when you completed a previous course with us, you will have already created a username and password for your account. You can reset this through the account recovery process.
Where can I find my proof of study letter once I've logged in?
After logging into Gradintel:
- Go to 'My Documents' section on your dashboard
- Select 'Proof of Study Letter' for your programme
- You can view, download, and print the letter, or share it securely with employers or other organisations
Please note that the Student Hub Services team are unable to stamp printed versions of this letter. If verification of the document is required emails can be sent to references@contacts.bham.ac.uk to confirm document authenticity.
