How do I access my proof of study letter?
The University of Birmingham works with Gradintelligence (also referred to as Gradintel) to provide you with your official proof of study letter.
New students will be registered with Gradintel and sent an account activation request email to your UoB email address within 24 hours of your full enrolment.
Your official Gradintelligence account is created automatically when you complete the UoB online registration for your programme. You will have received an email from Gradintelligence to your University email address asking you to 'activate' your account
If you have already activated your Gradintelligence account you can use the username and password you created to log in.
If it is your first time using Gradintelligence at UoB, you'll need to activate your account using that link sent to your University email address (search Gradintelligence to find it). If you cannot find this, you can reset it.
If you have previously accessed your Gradintelligence account you will have already created a username and password for your account and if you need to you can reset it.
As a fully enrolled undergraduate or postgraduate (taught and research) student, you will be issued with a digitally signed electronic letter for each programme of study.
Gradintel will allow you to view, download, and print letters, as well as to securely share them electronically with potential employers.
Please note that the Student Hub Services team are unable to stamp printed versions of this letter. If verification of the document is required emails can be sent to references@contacts.bham.ac.uk to confirm document authenticity.
