How do I request a letter to confirm my guests and I are attending graduation?
If you are an international student and you or your guests intend to attend your graduation ceremony but are currently outside the UK, you may need to apply for a standard visitor visa.
Once you have confirmed your attendance with the Funding, Graduation and Awards team and they have allocated a ceremony to your record, your proof of study letter (also known as proof of registration) on Gradintelligence (Gradintel) will update to include:
- Your graduation date/expected graduation date
- Confirmation that you have been are allocated two guest tickets
Please note: the University is unable to include any personal details about your guests. You will need to provide a letter explaining your relationship with them and the purpose of their visit.
