As well as getting involved in all the exciting events and activities as part of the UoBe Festival, there'll also be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in the development and running of the festival.  See what roles are available below.

Student ambassador

Campus Run volunteer

If you would like to be involved in the Campus Run but don’t want take part in the actual run, we are also looking for 50 enthusiastic volunteers to support the organisation of the event. Roles will range from being a course steward, supporting with sign ups, setting up and down and managing the bag drop area to name a few. All volunteers will receive the appropriate training to deliver your role and you’ll receive a FREE t-shirt!

If you are interested in getting involved and supporting you will need to be available from 07:30-12:30 on Sunday 23 January and also for a volunteer role briefing which will take place in the week commencing 17 January.

Project Assistant 

Looking to gain experience in project management and working in a project based environment? Why not apply for the Project Assistant role where you will work alongside the UoBe Festival Project Officer and the Guild of Students to support with the development of UoBe Festival. This is a great opportunity to work on a large scale university project aimed at UoB students and to gain valuable experience to help boost your CV and have fun doing so.

Events Assistant

Want to gain valuable experience working at events? Why not apply to be an Events Assistant at UoBe Festival. This is a great opportunity to work at a range of exciting events inlcuding supporting the organisation and delivery, running the events on the days, dealing with attendees and visitors and also supporting the promotion of these events and getting engaging content on the day.
