The University has a salary sacrifice scheme that enables staff to choose a new bike or equipment and pay for it through payroll deductions, which means considerable tax and National Insurance savings.
The scheme is operated by Cycle Solutions, and all ordering starts via the dedicated landing page. You can choose bikes from local shops (including Gear Up on campus) or the online store.
The scheme starts as a hire arrangement for 12 months. This can be extended by five further years for no extra cost, after which ownership is transferred to the hirer for free.
