This 1.5 hour workshop offers a basic introduction to the breadth of qualitative data collection methods available for researching pedagogic practice. Participants will be introduced to different forms of interviewing and observation, alongside the Template Process as a way of incorporating students as active participants in developing learning processes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own pedagogic research scenario/practice/puzzle they would like to discuss.
