Educational Video Production: A Practical Workshop for Educational Media Production

 **Please Note: The completion of the online course "Media Essentials: Stating Your Creative Journey” is a prerequisite to attending this session, and will provide an understanding of what we will cover in the face-to-face workshop.

 Are you looking to enhance your video skills for the purpose of creating educational media? This hands-on workshop is designed to build upon the competencies introduced in our online "Media Essentials: Stating Your Creative Journey” course. It provides a practical experience with various equipment, including different camera setups, microphones, and lighting, all with the goal of simplicity in mind. 

 HEFi staff will be present to support and facilitate workshop activities, allowing you the opportunity to engage both behind and in front of the camera. By the conclusion of the session, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of key considerations for planning a recording and acquire the knowledge to initiate your project with the available equipment.

 **Please note that this session is for anyone who teaches at the University of Birmingham, but is not open to externals. This event is only available in person.
