Seeking the next University Chancellor

Thank you to everyone who shared their views on the qualities and experience we should be looking for as part of our search for the University’s eighth Chancellor. The online form closed on Friday 7 July and we received over 150 responses, which will now be shared with the Chancellor Appointment Committee.

The next stage in the process will be a review of nominations and shortlisting of candidates for interview. The selection committee will make their recommendation to the Council for approval in February 2024. Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea, CBE, DL, will end his term as Chancellor of the University on 16 July 2024.
