Paying fees in instalments
Students at our UK campus, with a UK bank account, can apply to Pay fees by Direct Debit.
For both UK and Dubai students: If Pound Sterling (GBP) is not your home currency, and you will not be opening a UK bank account, you can make a request to pay in instalments by logging a Student Payment Query in the Finance Service Portal (bham.ac.uk).
If the total of your tuition fee instalment plan is greater than £9,840, a non-refundable interest charge will be applied. This will not exceed 1% above the base rate of the Bank of England as at 1st August of the academic year preceding the academic year to which the tuition fee instalment plan relates; and will apply for the whole of the academic year to which the tuition fee instalment plan relates notwithstanding any change of the Bank of England base rate during that academic year
Accommodation fee Direct Debit plans are not subject to interest charges.
Paying fees in full
If you pay your fees in full before receiving your invoice, you do not need to do anything additional when you receive your invoice.
Credit or transfer limit when paying fees in full
If you want to pay your fees in full, but have a credit or transfer limit, you can make multiple payments over several days. You must still make the full payment before the due date of the invoice. If your payment is late, you could incur charges.
