Careers Network has a range of CV services and resources to ensure you receive the support you need including our instant online CV Checker.

 

Whether you are applying for an internship, a part-time role during your studies or a graduate job, it is important to ensure your CV is well structured, up-to-date and tailored to the particular position you are applying for.

Take the following steps to ensure you receive the right support, at the right time:

1. CV support 

Access our range of support on Careers Connect, including advice, workshops, videos and tailored reviews. Keep track of your progress on your account to make the most of your CV.

2. Use our virtual CV checking platform for instant CV feedback

CV Checker is a virtual CV checking platform that provides customised feedback on your CV - wherever you are and whenever you want it.

To get the most out of using CV Checker, we recommend that you upload your CV more than once, and that you review and implement the feedback outlined.

CV Checker is also available for alumni for up to two years after you graduate. 

3. Attend a CV workshop

Attend a 30 minute Top Tips workshop to get information on how to structure your CV and what content to include.

The workshops cover Information on what a CV is, why you need one and our top tips for getting started.

4. Email your CV for review

If you’ve used the resources listed above you can submit your CV to Careers Network for written feedback.

We recommend that once you have uploaded your CV to CV Checker, you review and implement the feedback before submitting it to us for further support
