American Physical Society has an open access publishing agreement with the University of Birmingham. It allows University of Birmingham affiliated corresponding authors (subject to eligibility criteria listed below) to publish open access at no additional cost in the following hybrid titles:
- Physical Review Letters
- Physical Review A
- Physical Review B
- Physical Review C
- Physical Review D
- Physical Review E
- Physical Review Applied
- Physical Review Fluids
- Physical Review Materials
Eligibility criteria
- The agreement is available for article types acceptable under the policies of the participating journal, including but not limited to:
- Regular articles
- Letters
- Rapid communications
- Reviews
- Perspectives
- Short papers
- The corresponding author must be affiliated to the University of Birmingham, and ensure their @bham.ac.uk email address is used on submission to the journal.
- Any additional page, colour or other charges will not be covered through this agreement or the open access budget.
