Important travel information: Arrivals Weekend roadworks
Arrivals weekend is approaching soon, and we are excited to welcome everyone back onto campus. Before travelling, there are some important roadworks and closures to consider so please plan ahead.
Due to HS2 construction, the M42 between Junction 6 and Junction 9 will be closed in both directions from the evening of 18 September to the early hours of 21 September. Please see the Transport for West Midlands page for more travel updates and guidance.
There will be roadworks on Edgbaston Park Road with two-way traffic lights by The Vale Village causing potential delays. Please see the Roadworks Radar to stay informed on these travel changes.
These delays may make travel longer than usual so please plan ahead. If you’re a bit late for your arrival timeslot though, don’t worry. Your room will be ready for when you get here.
