New pharmacy opening on campus

A brand new pharmacy called 'Selly Pharmacy' is opening in the University Centre on Monday 7 September, making it easier for you to look after your health without having to leave campus.

Working alongside the existing NHS Pharmacy on Bristol Road, Selly Pharmacy will offer a wide range of healthcare products and advice to help with your everyday health needs.

Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm you’ll be able to access:

  • Private vaccinations
  • Travel vaccinations and travel health advice
  • Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Weight management support
  • Help with stopping smoking
  • Men's and women's health services
  • Treatment for common conditions, including acne, hair loss and ear infections
  • Private prescriptions dispensing
  • Pharmacy-only medicines and healthcare products

A chance to learn and gain experience

The new pharmacy is also great news for students in the College of Medicine and Health.

As well as providing healthcare on campus, it will create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and take part in placements in a real community pharmacy setting.

So, whether you need some healthcare advice, a vaccination or just want to find out what’s available, your Selly Pharmacy is coming right here on campus.
