Student life can be expensive. From living costs to study materials, it can be difficult to keep up with different costs. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Santander to offer 10 lucky students a grant of £1,000 each to be used on anything to make your university life a little easier.
Whether you’re an undergraduate, postgraduate, part-time or full-time UoB student, you all have the chance to apply for this cash. You also don’t need to bank with Santander to sign up.
How to apply
- Register for Santander Open Academy, a free online learning platform, if you haven’t already done so before.
- Verify your account via a confirmation email.
- Log in, select ‘Get Started’ and choose University of Birmingham from the menu.
- Submit your entry by 11.59pm UK time on Thursday 3 December 2026 – good luck!
