What is a Student Content Shaper?

You may have seen our diverse team of students creating fabulous content on the University’s Instagram, TikTok, and on our Student Services YouTube channel.

As part of the Student Shapers scheme, our Student Content Shapers are students who get paid to create content for our Student Communication channels. They jump on the latest TikTok trends, write blogs, and create fun and engaging videos to tell current and future students what it’s really like to live and study at UoB.

Over the next few months, we’re on the lookout for more UoB students to join our fab team to help us create the content you want to see throughout the next academic year.

Why should I apply?

If you’re looking for a role that fits flexibly around your studies and allows you to be creative, whether that’s on camera or off, then this role is for you.

Please note this opportunity is a part-time, paid role through Worklink so Right to Work checks will need to be carried out.

Applications will be reviewed over summer. If successfully shortlisted, we’ll ask you to attend an online or in-person interview with the role starting from September 2024.
