Marking Parents and Carers Fortnight

Studying while being a parent or carer can be really rewarding, but we appreciate it can come with challenges too. As part of 'Parents and Carers Fortnight' this June, we've pulled together some free events on campus and in Selly Oak that you might be interested in. Visit the Student Parents and Carers page for useful information, services and financial guidance.

Birmingham Carers Hub Discovery Event

Taking place in Selly Oak, the event is led by not-for-profit company Forward Carers. It gives you an opportunity to:

  • Enjoy free wellbeing activities such as yoga or massage
  • Get a free health check
  • Speak to a range of professionals and pick up information about support available for unpaid carers
  • Get advice on how to manage with the increased cost of living.

Book your place.
