Supporting you in your final year reassessments

Do you need to retake one or more failed modules during your final year of your Undergraduate (intergrated) Masters or Bachelor’s degree?

Don't worry, you now have the option to resit your final year modules during the Supplementary examination period in August 2023.

Your options

As in previous years, if you have achieved enough credits to graduate, you can maintain your current mark and graduate in July 2023.

This option allows you to resit your failed final year modules during the August 2023 supplementary examination period, in which case:

  • your graduation ceremony will be moved to winter 2023
  • your resit mark will be capped at the pass mark.

Resit decisions should be confirmed by 5pm on Friday 30 June 2023. If you do choose to take the reassessment, please complete the ‘Final Year Reassessment – Defer Graduation' on the Student Gateway

Your support

While this might seem like a difficult decision to make, we do offer a range of resources to help you. To learn more about your options head to the Registry section of the student intranet.
