University Graduate School PGT Information Hub: Now Launched

The University Graduate School is delighted to launch a new information hub for postgraduate taught (PGT) students, helping you keep track of different support services, events and opportunities for postgraduates on and off campus throughout the year.

We know that it can be overwhelming to keep track of all the different services and opportunities available to you as a postgraduate, and that as a PGT your time is at a premium! The PGT Canvas Hub is available throughout the academic year, and brings together the highlights of what’s available to you across the University of Birmingham in one helpful place.

The Hub has information on:

• How to prepare for your future career through the Careers Network
• How to access wellbeing services
• How to develop your academic skills
• How to find support as an international student
• Where to go for practical support (to change your modules, ask for a dissertation extension, for advice on Visas, for IT support)
• How to make new friends and meet new people online and on campus
• And of course, an introduction to the University Graduate School (our academic workshops, employability-led flagship events, and community-building socials!)
• Plus much more!

Whether you are exploring the University as you first arrive, or need a refresher for your second year, we hope the PGT Hub will be a useful way of finding the right information and direction.
