Free period products available on campus

As part of our commitment to support the student community with the rising cost of living in the UK and period poverty, you can now collect free environmentally friendly period products including tampons and sanitary towels on campus.

These products are available to anyone that needs them. These can be for yourself or someone you know.

Where to pick up products

You can pick up free period products from the Aston Webb Student Hub, located on the ground floor of C Block, Aston Webb Building.

The Hub opening hours are:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 09:00-17:00
  • Thursday: 10:00-17:00
  • Friday: 09:00-17:00

Please note the Hub is closed on weekends, Bank Holidays, and University Closed Days.

Products are also available at the Guild of Students during their opening hours.

Postgraduates can also pick up products in the foyer of Westmere House (G15 on the campus map), to the right of the front door as you enter.

Westmere House is open 10:00-16:00 any weekday, excluding University closed days and bank holidays. Just ring the buzzer to gain entry to the foyer area.

If you are a postgraduate researcher, your University ID card should give you access to Westmere House (the PGR Community Hub) from 06:00-22:00 any day including weekends, but still excluding University closed days and bank holidays.
