Support, safety, and consent: new webpage on harassment and sexual misconduct

We are taking steps to protect students from harassment and sexual misconduct – with new resources, clearer routes to support, and a course designed to help you feel safe and respected.

We've launched a new dedicated harassment and sexual misconduct webpage where you’ll find everything in one place: policies, guidance, contacts, and help. Whether you’re looking for support, need to understand your options, or want to learn more, it’s all there. Explore the support page on harassment and sexual misconduct.

New online course: Consent Matters

Starting this year, all new students will be required to complete Consent Matters, our one-hour, online course on boundaries, respect, and healthy relationships. It’s now live on Canvas, and we’ll be inviting you to complete it later this year — we strongly encourage you take time to complete the course if you haven’t already.

Understanding consent helps to create a safer, more inclusive university experience. The course encourages and enables you to support each other and build a respectful student community.

You can find the Consent Matters course on Canvas in your Student Support & Development Hub pages.
