PGR Summer Support

The summer can be a challenging with conferences, deadlines and preparation for the new academic year taking all of your time. We hope you’re taking a break to recharge, but if you need further support, please get in touch with the wellbeing services.

To help you tackle your to-do list, PGR Shut Up and Work sessions are still running every Tuesday afternoon in August. Join the Teams site and our community of productive PGRs!

The Migrant Festival
Thursday 17 August - Sunday 3 September
Ikon Gallery, Birmingham City Centre

This year’s free festival features projects by three Birmingham photographers – Vanley Burke, Ayesha Jones and Maryam Wahid – who are collaborating with inner-city communities to share their stories of migration. The festival also includes artists’ talks, music events by Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham and a family workshop. More info.
