Join the University in celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight

The University of Birmingham has proudly maintained its Fairtrade status since 2003 and continues to encourage students and staff to buy Fairtrade.

This year we are supporting the Fairtrade Fortnight event, which runs from 22 February to 7 March, and takes the form of an online festival highlighting the growing challenges that climate change brings to farmers and workers in the communities Fairtrade works with.

There's a whole community at the University dedicated to sustainability and Fairtrade. Link up with the University's Sustainability Ambassadors and see how you can make a difference in your local community. Alternatively you could also join the Green Impact team at the Guild of Students.
