As part of UoBe Festival 2023, join the University Graduate School (UGS) on Thursday 26 January, 3.30pm-6pm, to hear postgraduate UoB alumni discuss the journeys of their careers, followed by a postgraduate drinks reception. Book your place here.

Free period products for all postgraduates

The University Graduate School now has a stock of free period products available in the foyer of Westmere House (G15 on the campus map) for any postgraduate who needs them. This includes organic and sustainable sanitary pads and tampons, and a selection of reusable products. Read more about the project and how to access the products here.

Q&A with a Survivor for Holocaust Memorial Day

The Jewish Society are proud to announce that in honour of Holocaust Memorial Day (27th Jan) Holocaust Survivor Mindu Hornick is coming to campus. This event is an incredible opportunity to hear a firsthand account of life in the camps and is completely free. Link to event.

BlackChat
Drop-ins every Tuesday 2.00-3.30pm, starts 14 February
Beale Room (opposite Student Hub, Aston Webb building)

BlackChat is a student group, facilitated by a psychotherapist, that allows black students to enjoy free-flowing discussions. Upcoming Train Strikes

A reminder that there are more planned rail strikes taking place, which will mean that some train services will be severely cancelled, reduced, and disrupted from Tuesday 31 January - Saturday 4 February. More info and how to prepare
