PGR Talks 2026

About PGR Talks

PGR Talks took place on 16 June as part of the University Doctoral School Showcase. PGR Talks was a PGR-led event which gave selected PGRs the opportunity to deliver talks on their research and showcase the impact that that their work holds for wider society.

This year’s PGR Talks aimed to celebrate and spotlight the innovative, Black-led research taking place across the University. To achieve this, PGR Talks was a collaborative effort between the Black Scholars Connect PGR Network, the 125th Anniversary Scholars and the University Doctoral School. Through joining PGR Talks, attendees could hear more about why representation is key in inspiring the future of research.

If you were unable to join us for PGR Talks and would like to watch this back, you can find the full session recording via our UDS YouTube channel.
