Summer Term and UoB Xtra

And that’s a wrap for UoB Xtra 2025!

We hope you all enjoyed our three-week FREE programme of events, challenges, and opportunities during June alongside your Summer Term timetabled sessions.

With over 200 fantastic campus and online events on our What’s On page, there was something for everyone…

It was great to see the Green Heart buzzing with students, especially during week one, enjoying performances and workshops, craft activities, outdoor games, our Campus 3K and so much more. Our Outdoor Cinema proved to be popular once again with free daily showings such as Interstellar, Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were Rabbit and The Wild Robot. Did you manage to grab some free popcorn or candyfloss too?

This year, we also celebrated 125 years of the University of Birmingham with our Big Birthday Bash as well as a Community Festival and 125th Anniversary Concert on campus.
