Hello 2024

Welcome back! Happy New Year, we hope you found some time to rest and recharge over the holiday period and are rearing to go.

Campus has reopened and we’re expecting many of you from next week. Don’t forget, your teaching timetable for Semester Two is available to view on the MyUoB app, which you can also access on desktop.

January assessment period

Some of you will be taking your assessments in the New Year. Whether these are your first assignments at university, or you’re working through your final year, assessments can be nerve-wracking. We’re here to help you feel #UoBeReady so you can shine and showcase your skills.

Check out our UoBe Ready intranet pages for study resources including a free downloadable study planner and workshops, as well as support and assessment advice from your fellow UoB students.

Study Spaces

Can you eat your lunch? Does it have power sockets for your laptop? Is it a quiet zone or more suitable for group work? There’s lots to think about when finding a study space to suit you on campus. Our Study Spaces intranet pages have details of many of the main locations on campus including an in-depth tour of the Main Library. Interested in students’ top picks for study spots on campus? Check out Hannah’s five go to study spaces to focus and revise.
