Mouth-watering new food places on campus

In response to your feedback, we’ve made some changes to increase the diversity and authenticity of catering on campus and we’re so excited to tell you all about it!

Kimiko
Next to the Costa near Biosciences, Kimiko serves authentic Japanese food, and it’s all we can think about at lunch time! Offering indoor and outdoor seating, they serve hot and cold food and drinks, along with some great vegan and vegetarian options. Pop down to pick up your gyoza’s or katsu curry anytime between 10:00 and 16:00 every weekday.

Brook’s Bar
It’s back! Based near Bournbrook Pavillion, Brook’s Bar is a sports and social bar which is open from Wednesday through to Sunday. It’s making a spectacular return with a revamped food menu including loaded fries, burgers, and chicken wings! Take a look at their opening hours to ensure you can get your order in for the last round of food.

Alan Walters Café
A brand-new dessert parlour has just opened in the Alan Walter’s Building (behind Muirhead Tower), and it's the sweetest spot on campus! Serving a delicious range of cakes (tried and tested!), doughnuts, ice cream, and waffles with a wide selection of toppings, it’s the ideal location to hit up after lectures to satisfy those sweet cravings. Come along between 9:00 and 17:30 during the week in term-time to fuel your study sessions.
The standard Food Fellows Meal Deal - where you can grab a sandwich, snack, and drink for just £4.50 - remains in place at many food spots around campus. If this deal wasn't good enough, it's now even better with the launch of the Premium Meal Deal for £4.95. Upgrade your Meal deal by switching out your sandwich for a hot panini, wrap or soup. We also have locations all around the campus which provide free utilities such as microwaves and hot water taps. Take a look at this YouTube video to find all of the water stations on campus to keep hydrated

We’re not done yet so be prepared for more as we trial food offers, outlets and pop-ups across campus to offer a wider variety of food choices. And look out for opportunities to give your feedback this term and influence catering on campus.
